About Our Salisbury Dentist and Team
Dr. John S. Keadle
After studying Chemistry at the United States Air Force Academy and West Virginia University, Dr. Keadle graduated from the University of West Virginia School of Dentistry in 1989.
He was certified by the American Dental Association Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations, and was ranked among the top 2% of dentists in the nation during this examination.
As part of his undergraduate training, Dr. Keadle completed a rigorous externship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and was presented by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons with an award for outstanding achievements in the undergraduate study and clinical training of this specialized area of dental education. Dr. Keadle has been selected as a Top Dentist in Salisbury, NC by the International Association of Dentists (IAD).
In late 1990, after a year of intense study of dental implant surgery and restoration under the tutelage of world-renowned surgeon Alfred “Duke” Heller, of Midwest Implant Institute, Dr. Keadle began his dental practice on East Innes Street, in Salisbury, NC.
After a period of rapid growth, he built a new office just down the road, at 480 Jake Alexander Blvd. West, where his practice continues to thrive.
Dr. Keadle and his wife keep very busy raising two young daughters. They enjoy playing tennis and going to the movie theater when they can find a babysitter.
Meet the Team
Betsy, Dental Hygienist
Betsy and Dr. Keadle have been working together longer than either of them care to admit (but we will tell you that it was before cell phones). Betsy’s goal is to keep your teeth in tip-top shape with education and preventive maintenance, and she is one of the best in the profession. She is famous for being gentle and thorough at the same time, and has won many awards and accolades attesting to her knowledge and skill as a dental hygienist. Betsy likes to sing gospel music, play with her grandchildren, and travel.
Jessica, Dental Assistant
Jessica has been with Dr. Keadle since graduating from Piedmont Dental Assisting, and together, they make a great team. Jessica realizes the dental chair is not your favorite place to visit, so she spends a great deal of effort to make you as comfortable as possible at all times. She has advanced education in many aspects of dentistry, including the highly advanced CEREC one-visit crown technology. Jessica is a champion soccer player, a country music lover, and enjoys spending time with her family more than anything else.
